Core Implementation Team
Do we need a large core team for implementation? No. As long as you know where you are headed. Management identifies the scope of the work effort. The work effort team quantifies the required steps in a logical work flow manner. The team interacts with management, and establishes a clearly defined plan for implementation. Management reviews the plan and gives a thumbs up or thumbs down to the implementation. Remember the words "Clearly establish what you are going to do before doing it".
Training Needs
What are the training needs? The heart of implementation is teaching the organization "What do we do differently?". Hence the rationale for "The CSQ3 Solution" and the "CSQ3 Overview Course". The Overview Course is especially focused on the general population of the organization. Use the course to train personnel in your organization. We can even modify the course to include specific examples for your particular organization or industry.
System Needs
CSQ3 Fundamentals is focused on methodology. CSQ3 Optimum and CSQ3 Metrics uses the methodology to establish organizational systems. The improvement team and management determines the magnitude and scope of possible system integrations. On the low end, CSQ3 systems can be maintained in a spreadsheet or database structure. On the high end, CSQ3 systems are integrated with systems involved with human resources, accounting, portfolio management, knowledge management, etc.
Implementation and Operational Support
Once the clearly defined performance improvement plan is approved by management, the work effort team implements the plan. Note: a clearly defined plan will have specifics with respect to long term operational support. In general, organizational personnel new to CSQ3 will need hand holding and a small team of inhouse consultants is recommended. In summary, personnel in the organization will be empowered.
